A highlight for many members are the Seniors Alpine Ski Club organized tours which are typically by chartered bus and feature 3 to 4 days of skiing with lift passes, 3 to 4 nights accommodation, and evening social events. For the 2009/2010 season there were 7 tours —open to Club members only—to the major mountain ski areas: Sunshine (2 trips), Marmot/Jasper, Kimberley (BC), Sun Peaks (Kamloops, BC... 1 trip), Silver Star (Vernon, BC), and Squaw Valley (California). All tours have been completed for the 2009/2010 seasons!

The Club is currently booking a tour to 'Ski the Andes' in late August 2010 to kick off the 2010/2011 season!

Detailed information for the 2010/2011 season, including deadlines for tour signups, will be outlined in the early fall on our Club Upcoming Tours page and in our Club newsletter, the Ski Chatter, in the September/October issue. Parking for Bus Tours is at the Valley Ridge Golf Club (11618 Valley Ridge Blvd. NW) accessed via the Valley Ridge interchange on the TransCanada Highway (parking map).

There is a standard Tour Reservation Form (120K PDF) for all Club tours which must be completed, signed and submitted by the relevant deadline.
